Garbage deposited

Garbage deposited …

You wouldn't expect it, but also in the Genderbeemd garbage is now deposited next to the underground containers instead of throwing garbage in the containers. In this case on Nijenrode, registered on August 3 at 6 p.m. A day later, the garbage is gone either because Cure took it or an alert resident put it in the underground container. Soon after that, another garbage bag was again deposited next to the container.

Our call is

not to place garbage bags and other waste next to the containers. Apart from the fact that this really gives the neighborhood a dilapidated appearance, it can also cause considerable inconvenience (smell or an even bigger mess), for example because the garbage bags are teared apart by rats, cats, birds or dogs.

If you cannot get rid of the bags because you do not have a (working) city pass or can't find it, leave the bags inside or ask a neighbor to help you with their city pass. You can request a new city pass via the website of the municipality (https://www.eindhoven.nl/en/city-pass-request, with your DigiD) or by telephone 14040, select “other”. If the container is full, you can pass it on, instructions are on the container.

There are fines on the above violations; BOAs are allowed to inspect the content of the bags to find out information about the person in question.

Are you not registered in the municipality of Eindhoven and you are living temporarily (no longer than 4 months) in a house or apartment that depends on the underground containers, you can get a temporary city pass requests (only for the container) at CURE: 040-250 0130.
